Islamic Emirate’s air force helicopter has crashed, according to its ministry of defence.
The aircraft encountered a mechanical issue on Sunday, according to the ministry, and crashed after running into a high-voltage power line.
Two air force pilots perished as a result of this event, the ministry reported.

According to the Islamic Emirate’s Ministry of Defence, the MD-530 Air Force helicopter crashed into a power line in the Sighanchi neighbourhood in the Khalem district of Samangan at 9:00 this morning. The aircraft was travelling from Mazar-e-Sharif to Samangan province.
The government further stated that it will look into the issue.
A military helicopter had crashed in this province’s Khalem area, the chief of communication and culture for the Islamic Emirate in Samangan had earlier told the media.
