UNICEF educational program for girls: While the caretaker administration has banned girls’ education for more than 640 days, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced the establishment of free educational programmes for more than 500,000 boys and girls in Afghanistan.
On Monday, UNICEF reported that many of these girls’ only remaining educational options were the neighborhood schools.

This organization has also declared that it will be able to expand its educational institutions to a total of 21,000 educational institutions across Afghanistan with the aid of donor nations in “UNICEF educational program for girls”.

More than 100,000 children will get education throughout Afghanistan, according to UNICEF.
Prior to this, UNESCO reported that 10 million kids attended school in Afghanistan in 2018, up from one million in 2001. At this time, there are 2.5 million female students who are denied an education.
Statistics from foreign organizations show that there were 5,000 female students in Afghan institutions in 2001, and that number rose to 103,854 students by 2021, a 20-fold rise. However, once the Taliban took power in Afghanistan in 2021, this trend changed, and it is now the opposite. Universities in Afghanistan currently do not have any enrolled female students.
Additionally, this organization asserts that Afghan females have never participated in primary education in 30% of instances, and it is currently excluding 2.5 million eligible girls from school.
