2 Afghan girls in Forbes 30, due to their creative efforts to assist the Afghan people, two Afghan girls named Sarah Wahidi and Summia Tora are among the 30 under 30 young prominent persons mentioned in Forbes 2023.
Forbes Magazine has picked Sarah Wahidi, the founder and CEO of the Ehtesab programme, which assists in assessing security threats, and Summia Tora for building a Dosti Network “Friendship Network” for their creative efforts in assisting Afghan refugees.
The Ehtesab programme allows users to communicate security issues with one another and receive timely notifications about them. In the summer of 2020, as the number of Taliban assaults increased, Sarah Wahidi developed this app, which quickly became well-known worldwide.

The MIT Technology Review chose Ms. Wahidi as one of the innovators under 35 in 2022. After Times Magazine designated her as one of the young generation leaders in 2021. At Colombia University in the US, Sarah Wahidi is pursuing a degree in Human Rights and Urban Public Space.

The Dosti Network started a worldwide initiative to link Afghans escaping persecution with resources to live in a safe nation. And for those remaining in Afghanistan to get necessary resources after the toppling of the former Afghan government in August 2021.
