At a briefing on the margins of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, she stated that “the security situation in Afghanistan is tense” and Tass reported that the country is engaged in activities that are subversive to the governments of the nations.

The Ministry added that it is difficult for Kabul’s present administration to maintain control of the situation since it is struggling financially as a result of Western sanctions.
“Kabul has been able to keep the situation stable in the country, although that is not easy to do given the sanctions and Western countries’ move to block the Afghan Central Bank’s assets,” the ministry stated.
The United States is trying to destabilise the area, according to the Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigy, who made the charge in May.
He spoke about regional problems and difficulties during his discussion with his peers from other CSTO member nations.
The US will use terrorist organizations to further destabilize the area, as claimed by him, and Afghanistan will continue to be a source of instability.
He also warned the nations of Central Asia, particularly the CSTO member states, that they can expect future attempts by illegal armed groups to attack their neighbors’ countries.

In May, she emphasized that we delivered “another shipment of Russian food to Afghanistan” as part of our primary contribution to the UN World Food Programme. This shipment contained approximately one thousand tonnes of food.”
