The Chinese ambassador to Afghanistan announced the resumption of China Afghanistan direct flights and the beginning of the preparation work for mining the Aynak copper mine during a meeting with Amir Khan Motaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the caretaker administration.
Amir Khan Motaqi, the acting minister of foreign affairs, met with Wang Yu, the Chinese ambassador to Afghanistan, according to a series of tweets sent on Tuesday night, Som Joza, by Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman for the Islamic Emirate’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Chinese envoy said, “China maintains its normal relations with Afghanistan and wishes to further strengthen these relations,” as the Aynak copper mine preparation work got underway.
According to Wang Yu, direct flights between China and Afghanistan will begin on May 24.

He also says that Afghanistan would expand its exports to China, particularly of pomegranates, and that the Republic Hospital restoration project will coincide with the opening of the low-cost housing project.
While applauding China’s moves, Amir Khan Motaghi also urged more visa ease while praising the debut of flights between the two nations as a chance to improve relations.

The Chinese ambassador to Afghanistan stressed that his nation did not accept the policy of applying pressure to the Islamic Emirate’s government and that it is instead choosing the path of “interaction and understanding” during a meeting with Sirajuddin Haqqani, the acting minister of the Islamic Emirate’s interior. Today, a flight between Kabul and Urumqi city took place.
This is true despite the fact that fewer flights through the air corridors and resulting difficulties with the export process have occurred since the Islamic Emirate came to power.
