Over 20,000 people attended a five-day Afghanistan Lajward Exhibition Lajward (lapis lazuli) of locally produced items, and dozens of business owners signed agreements with traders and investors from other provinces.

The expo, according to Hamidullah Khadim, the provincial chairman of the Herat Chamber of Industrial and Mine, encouraged local goods.

At the expo, there were 300 booths available to display household items, with 100 booths set up for female exhibitors and 200 booths for male exhibitors.

According to the administration, 120 of the 300 booths belonged to the factory owners to showcase their wares.

Plastic products, pharmaceuticals, home appliances, dairy products, and other consumable items were among the items on show at this expo.

Toryali Ghousi, representative of the Herat Chamber of Industries and Mines. Enthusiastically praised the outstanding quality of the booths and the exceptional facilities provided at the expo. The event saw a tremendous influx of visitors and active participation from both Herat and neighboring provinces. Moreover, it served as a fruitful platform for signing numerous contracts, showcasing the immense potential of this exhibition.
