According to this source, the Islamic Emirate’s acting minister of foreign affairs suggested that the charge d’affaires of the Pakistani embassy in Kabul return. The source claims that the Pakistani Foreign Minister granted Mr. Motaghi’s request and said that the chargé d’affaires of Pakistan’s embassy in Kabul will shortly resume his duties.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a statement confirming that Amir Khan Motaghi and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke over the phone on Saturday.
