According to the state-run Bakhtar news agency, Afghan Taliban forces killed ISIS Leader and his collaborator on Thursday in Nangarhar’s eastern region.

The Taliban forces killed ISIS Leader/commander, identified as “Turab,” during a special operation, according to reports. The operation took place on Wednesday night in Wuch Tangi hamlet of Shiwa district in eastern Nangarhar province, as stated by Taliban provincial authorities quoted by Bakhtar news agency.

The periodic special operations carried out by the Taliban security forces in regions suspected to be hiding places for insurgents serve as a countermeasure against the risks presented by ISIS militants.
