Police Officer Martyred in Late-Night Terrorist Attack in Bara, Khyber Tribal Province, Officials Confirm.

In a tweet, KP police announced that a terrorist attack claimed the life of constable Nasim Khan, who was assigned to the Al-Hajj checkpoint in Bara.

After the terrorist group Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan signed a truce with the government in November, terrorist activities increased throughout, but mainly in KP and Balochistan, where the incident took place.

TTP primarily targeted police personnel, foreigners, and common citizens in the nation.

Militant organizations carried out 436 terrorist attacks during the course of the previous year, resulting in the murder of 293 people and the injury of 521 others, as stated by officials.

Most of the occurrences took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, two of Pakistan’s provinces.

219 terrorist attacks were place in KP, which resulted in the deaths of 192 persons. In contrast, according to the Director General of ISPR, 80 people died in 206 events in Balochistan, 14 people killed in 5 assaults in Punjab, and 6 people died in 6 terrorist incidents in Sindh.

While this was going on, Pakistani officials constantly urged the interim Afghan authorities to take strong action against TTP hideouts.

The Afghan Taliban, however, disapproved of the TTP’s presence there and vowed to forbid any organisation from using Afghan territory against Pakistan.
